This is Angel Meza 🙂 He is 19 years old and a 2nd year student at CSULB. His major is Business Management. CSULB was not his first choice of school; University of California, Santa Barbara was. He chose to come to Long beach because UCSB was too expensive. I’ve experienced the same thing with my first choice, University of Hawai’i at Manōa.
Angel is from Carson, California. He drives his Toyota Corolla when commuting from Carson to Long Beach. He has 2 siblings: a little brother and a little sister. I thought that was interesting because I live 5 minutes north of Carson and I also have 2 siblings: an older brother and an older sister. He listens to all types of music, except country. However, his favorites are Mexican music and rap.
Our question of the week was:
“After visiting many galleries and seeing the artists different art pieces, what is your favorite type (painting, sculpture, installation, Performance Art, Art Education, Public Art, Social Practice, New Media, etc.) and why?”
Angel said, “Paintings are my favorite because they allow people to work with a combination of colors and abstract shapes that you really can’t with any other type of art. I think there are a lot of cool things that can be made in paintings that can’t be made any other way”.
Angel seems like a really cool guy to be friends with. I’m glad we got a chance to meet 🙂
